Every cat here was
someone’s almost.
We pull cats from overcrowded shelters and tuck them into spare bedrooms across the city — until the right person walks through the door.
Cats looking for a living room.
Every photo was taken in a foster home this week. These aren't shelter shots — they're Tuesday mornings.

Not a shelter.
A neighborhood.
Every cat in our care lives in a real home, on a real couch, with a person who knows their name. Our fosters are the rescue.

The hardest part is saying goodbye. The easiest part is knowing they found the right home.

I thought I was a dog person. Biscuit disagreed, and she was right.

My retired schedule and Otto's chaotic energy were a perfect match.
Have a spare bedroom?
Fostering takes 2–8 weeks. We cover all vet costs, food, and supplies. You provide the couch.

Adoption the way it should feel —
like following up on someone you already met.
Find a cat who sounds like yours.
Read their one-liner. Look at the photos. If something clicks, tap "Meet [Name]" to see their full profile — medical history, personality brief, and a note from their foster parent.
Talk to the person who knows them best.
We connect you directly with the foster parent, not a call center. Ask about routines, quirks, and whether they actually steal socks. (Mango does.)
A meet-up in a real home, not a clinic.
Adoptions happen at the foster's home or at Saturday meet & greets at Groundwork Coffee. The cat is already comfortable. You get to see who they really are.
